ニューロサイエンス研究センターは理学研究科と共催で、「芸術と科学のシンポジウムー演奏者が実演を通して、科学者が学問を通して、芸術を語りあう」を開催します。
2017年4月に創設された同センターでは、理学的発想に基づいた神経科学研究に取り組んでいます。同センターの将来構想の1つは、人間がどう世界を認識し、創作活動を行うかを理解することです。画家は絵画を創作し、作曲家は音楽を創造し、科学者は独創的な発見をします。これらの人間活動の基礎となる脳のいとなみは、どのようなものでしょうか。
  この公開シンポジウムでは、芸術を科学するためのきっかけとなるものです。鍵盤楽器に着目し、古典音楽と現代音楽の違い、チェンバロとピアノの楽器構造の違い、音響の物理学、音楽表現の脳科学、音楽の文化的あるいは歴史的背景などについて語り合い、新しい学問創出の可能性を探ります。一線で活躍するチェンバリストの大木和音さん、ピアニストの丈青さん、ベーシストの秋田ゴールドマンさん、ピアノテクニシャンの狩野真さんをお招きします。実際の演奏や解説をしていただくことで、芸術を科学的に捉えることはどういうことか、みなさまと考えてみたいと思います。

About coming to the event
・Doors open at 12:30 p.m.
・In the event of a large number of visitors, admission may be restricted to those who have not pre-registered.
・Please wear a mask to prevent infection. (If you do not wear a mask, you will not be allowed to enter the venue.)
・Hand sanitizer and temperature check will be conducted at the entrance to the venue, and visitors with a body temperature of 37.5 degrees Celsius or higher will not be admitted.

Persons who fall under any of the following categories are not allowed to enter.
・Those with symptoms such as fever, cough, sore throat, etc.
・Those who have tested positive for novel coronavirus infection, those who have been in close contact with a person who has tested positive, and those who are suspected of infecting a family member living with them or someone close to them.

Precautions in the venue
・Photographing or recording in the auditorium is strictly prohibited.
・Those who do not follow the instructions of staff at the venue will be asked to leave the venue.
・Please leave appropriate space in the venue and refrain from loud conversations.
・Depending on the situation of new corona infection, the staff may give you additional instructions to prevent infection.
